I’m Kim, an integrative therapist passionate about supporting women.
I trained as a therapist after many years of my own therapy, and I bring both lived experience and professional training to my work.
In my early thirties, I experienced a lot of change and loss and became so burnt out trying to cope that I had a breakdown. Therapy was a huge part of my recovery, and through my own experiences, I decided to retrain as a therapist. Now in my forties, I look back with compassion for that younger woman who struggled alone. I understand how overwhelming life can feel when it throws a curveball, and I believe there is always a way forward — sometimes we just need help finding it.
I bring an intersectional lens to my practice, recognising that women’s experiences are shaped by culture, race, class, sexuality, neurodiversity, motherhood, relationships, and social expectations. These factors can impact mental health, identity, self-worth, and how safe, supported, and authentic someone feels in the world.

My approach is warm, relational, and grounded. I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where we can explore your experiences at your own pace, and help make sense of things and find a way forward that feels right for you.
I wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of good therapy, and that the responsibility I hold as a therapist working with women is to ensure that you are met with respect, for you, your experiences and your autonomy.
Outside of therapy, I take many roles: mum, dog mum, friend, daughter, wife, creative, and nature-lover, and I'm happiest when I'm out in the woods.
I know it can feel like a big step to get in touch, and it’s easy to get caught in a loop of overthinking. I offer a free 30-minute chat to explore working together, reach out anytime.
"I understand now that I'm not a mess, but a deeply feeling person in a messy world. I explain that now, when someone asks me why I cry so often, I say, 'for the same reason I laugh so often - because I'm paying attention".
Glennon Doyle

My approach is guided by you and what you bring to therapy. I believe you are the expert in your experiences, and my aim is to meet you where you are and help you find your own answers, at your pace.
I work integratively which allows me to work flexibly using a range of theories, techniques and approaches. I believe the therapeutic relationship sits at the heart of the work, and ground my practice in a person-centered approach. If it feels right I may offer creative ways of exploring your experiences, which can be helpful when talking isn’t enough.
Modalities I use: Person-centered, psychodynamic, attachment, TA, inner child, CBT and creative therapy
Human and authentic over blank clinical stares
My clients say I'm warm and compassionate, and there's always space for laughter - let's be honest, sometimes that's what helps us talk about the hard stuff.
